Jason Fond knew from an early age that he wanted to practice medicine. After suffering a sports-related injury, Jason decided he wanted to be the one to help people. In 1987, Jason began his academic career and started down the path to becoming a doctor. In 2001, after successfully completing his sports medicine fellowship at Georgetown University, Dr. Fond started his own orthopedic sports medicine practice and began helping to alleviate people’s pain and helping them get back to a normal life.
After many successful years helping patients with surgical and non-surgical treatments, Dr. Jason Fond was recognized for his talent and dedication to the field. With his experience and vast knowledge of orthopedics, Dr. Fond was appointed an educator position at the Dominican College in New York. As an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Dr. Fond shares his knowledge and experience with the students as they pursue their academic endeavors. Dr. Fond has also taken on the role as team physician for the college’s many sports teams, addressing injuries the players incur during their sport and practice.
Dr. Jason Fond has enjoyed working with students and has taken up with St. Joseph’s Regional High School, in New Jersey as their team physician. Having grown up in New Jersey, Dr. Fond was happy to give back to the state and is glad he can impart his knowledge and wisdom to others. Dr. Fond plans to continue teaching and helping students in any way he can while continuing to provide his patients with the high-quality care he is known for.
